Alimony Investigations

If you are reading this, you probably have heard or know the Alimony laws have been revised and went into effect March, 2012, which addresses former spouses sharing life/home, “cohabitating” with another person.

According to MA General Laws:

“General Term Alimony shall be suspended, reduced or terminated upon the cohabitation of the recipient spouse when the payor shows that the recipient has maintained a common household with another person for a continuous period of at least three months”. Clearly, there are certain criteria that must be met to demonstrate to the court, that the above is true.  We have investigated several Alimony cases and enjoy a very good success rate.
